The ignorance of pet owners infuriates me. So many people get dogs without taking any time to understand their needs, then expect the dog to respond like a human to cuddling, scolding, threats, beating etc. (I've seen it often. I was just at a house where the dog barks and jumps on visitors, bothers people at the dining table, then is shouted at and threatened with a beating for the disorderly behaviour. The owner has also told me it was about time for me to play with it because it wouldn't stop barking after I came in 🤦) I feel for dogs living with owners who can't communicate effectively with them-and don't see the value in learning how 😢 Pri's first bite in the video terrified me. It's only because she's tiny that it's "acceptable." Any dog larger that latched on would be crushing bone. I don't know if it's a fair statement, but owners of large dog breeds, who are confident is showing off their dogs, generally seem to be more knowledgeable about and responsible with their pets-if only because one mistake could cause grievous harm (to others and to the dog itself). I'm glad Pri is back to stability, and kudos to the family for learning and doing what's best for her 🥲

The first bite on the daughter was not the same, in my opinion. The dog was asleep and was surprised when the girl touched her. I think it was fear, not aggression. Although I don't doubt that she has been aggressive to the daughter too. I just don't think this specific footage showed that. Pri is friendly and affectionate but quite introverted, it turns out haha
