@@Syndra_maximoff1 And so did one of mine, "Carbón". He brought in a much older, bigger cat, so as to have someone to play with, I guess. What's remarkable about it was that when Carbón died, his friend stood for hours by his tomb. Taking a closer look I realized he had put a little green twig (a twig, not a flower) on Carbón's burial mound. I must emphasize "green" because at the time, our region was an extremely dry place.

I'd bet anything they eventually bring more cats with them. I believe strays watch other strays to see if they've found a safe place and they join up lol. I started feeding 1 stray and it didn't take long to have 6 show up. My porch was a no-fight zone too lol. Most seemed to realize that, of course there's always going to be 1 or 2 that wants to start trouble, but the rest knew they were safe. Even had little houses and beds for them

We had a male Bichon that got along with male cats but hated Shirley. She was here first. Maybe it had something to do with the day Shirley was too busy eating to notice Patrick sneaking up behind her...until he put his cold nose on the only spot on a cat that doesn't have fur.

I once had a problem with this stray cat constantly coming into my house uninvited and not wanting to leave. My mom had a creative solution though. We kept him.

I don't Know if the dog is eccepting this. He seems to have very little choice - he's being bullied into submission. The cat just takes position of everyting that used to be his, and even brings a friend to occupy his doghouse. And the little dog has no support. He must feel really confused, let down and desertet.

I've seen orange tabby cats give birth to all different colors and varieties of kittens. They truly could be brothers, and probably are. Just love them! ❤ Thank you for helping them and loving them. You are very beautiful and kind! ❤

I know for a fact there can be drastic color differences in litters. Females DO get pregnant by different males! I've had litters with black kittens all the way to white with lite Grey ears and tails.

It is. It's uncomfortable for him, and it's also a sad story for the cats because instead of having them adopted by permanent homes she and knitter klub just chose to have the lady "take care of them". How do we know she will...maybe she will just lock the door. She seems to be OK with them but not interested in having them as permanent pets.

They will be integrated. Cats make friends with resident pets easily if they are trained well. Feeding them together, saying no and playing with them together will being them closer. Anyhow, this looked like a temporary setting for the homeless cats so you can relax. Your dog is still going to have his home. It's the cats who would have to move out eventually.
