Dog who waits for her late owner doesn't know her owner has passed away, gone to where she can't follow. Not knowing the cause of the sudden farewell, the dog wanders around the entire village every day to find traces of her late owner. Even while she has a lump on her neck, refuses help from people.

When my grandma passed away, we brought her dog to the funeral home for the viewing so he knew what happened to his mummy. He just froze looking at her. He got very depressed after that, he fell quite ill after a few weeks during his mourning period and passed away too. The Vet knew of no way to save him during his falling ill. We cremated him & spread his ashes on mygrandma's grave to be together once again 😭🙏

It's not a nice thing to say but he may have got the scent of death from your grandma, dogs are very astute and their sense of smell is about 100 times stronger than ours. He then knew she had died and as Sharon said they grieve themselves to death. It's nice that you spread his ashes on her grave, he was obviously devoted to her.

We did this for my parents dog when they died. Then he became our dog. He lived several more years. He was a sweet little guy. I miss him very much.

Same with our dog. My husband loved our dog so much that when he succumbed to death, our dog got stressed; he did not want to eat and always waited for his dad until he got sick. Two months after his dad died, he followed as well. The first time my heart broke into pieces.

How lovely that members of a village want to give her love before she moves to new home. The dog and owner were both respected.

A precious son trying to honor his Dad's memory! He didn't forget the dog, even though he couldn't take her himself he pushed to get her in a better situation! *_You go SON!_* Those of us who are 'elderly' need to remember that animals don't understand 'DEATH' unless they SEE it themselves. If you die in a hospital and no one CARES about your animals, they will not know that your gone and they need to 'CARRY ON' too! BEFORE an illness takes you, try to make 'arrangements' for your animals the same way you would for SMALL CHILDREN! Talk to your family and don't let them get away with _'poo pooing'_ the fact that you have a dog or a cat or a rabbit or a turtle or whatever you have that will need a new home! *_WILL_* your animal to someone, *_if necessary_* make their help in finding a good home for the animal a CONDITION of getting whatever MATERIAL things _you are leaving them!_

It's bitter sweet. You can't explain what happened to his owner to him and he sort of knows the son and doesn't understand at the end why he is being given up, but it is a nice training centre with loving staff and in time I am confident he will get his forever family. He is better off than a lot of animals being tended to that way and his medical issues are also being looked after. Good luck with it all Boksil.

This is literally my biggest fear. I've had so many cats over the years but they unfortunately pass away and I went through the pain of losing them multiple times. Yet I kinda prefer that to my pet thinking I just left them or died and they grieve over me 💔

That's why I have adopted a senior dog. Hopefully, I'll outlive him. Seniors, animal and human, need love, too.

They depend upon us to look after them. The love they give to us is priceless, the joy and hope we receive cannot be measured. Always make provision for them when life takes a turn and you have to leave them. God bless you.💓💗💗

Jindo dogs are always loyal to their guardians until they die. They don’t understand the passing of their guardians. Grandpa loved this dog until he passed away. Humans don’t deserve the companionship of dogs.

Me gusta ver cómo ayudan a los animales, cuando hacen cosas que yo no puedo hacer. Me encantan los animales y siempre intento ayudar cuándo puedo. La anterior vez encontré unos perritos en la basura. Están recién nacidos. Los 3 murieron, realmente me da tristeza hasta donde llegan los humanos.
