The lady really loves the dog! She feels sorry for the dog's condition. It's actually not her fault. She even cooks so much meal for the dog every day. That's not an easy task-I'm quite sure that it's not cheap either! I'm glad that the dog is okay now.

I just learned now also that dog can feel stress too..in they can die of loneliness..he miss his owner that he can die of loneliness.just like people too...thanks that the real owner bring him back....the mother is good one too she is a nice owner too...

Seeing the madam say that it was her fault broke my heart :( She did everything she could, gave a lot of attention to him, fed him many times a day and took him to many vets to see what was happening with him! She did a great job! Don't blame yourself, it wasn't your fault definitely!

Eu vi um enorme saco de comida de cachorro quase vazio, duvido que ela não tenha alimentado o cachorro o suficiente.

@@bananasloth9944 even with depression a dog do not lose weight like that, we only saw her feed the dog ONCE on camera. think about it. a dog that is not hungry do not eat as if it has not seen food for days. see what kind of food the son gave the dog and see the shit food the lady gave. the son gave the dog MEAT it is a carnivore ffs and need PROTEIN to build its muscles. That you learn in school. did you skip school much? then go back and read up on biology dear midnight ignorant arrow. NOODLES IS NOT FOR DOGS TO EAT IT IS HUMAN FOOD FFS.

He had bonded with his human, no body was going to take his place. Animals have feeling and they can have broken hearts. He recovered because he returned to his bonded human. You cant just give them away or abandon them. They will suffer. Thank you for taking him back home and knowing what was right for him and your Family. And I must all so agree Grandama did her best and was correct in letting him know about orts condition. God Bless all who seen and did the right thing.

Yes, Grandma. You are not at fault. The dog becomes so skinny because of homesickness. When his real owner ( the son of the old lady) takes the dog to his house, the dog says:" Papa, I am so happy that you come to take me home! Now I can finally eat happily with you taking care of me! Sorry, grandma. I don't belong here and I miss Papa so much. Don't cry. I am just homesick. I am fine. Just that I can't adapt to your house so I become skinny. You can ask Papa to come and take you to Papa 's house if you miss me."

For once, an animal not being abused, and a wonderful woman taking care of him. This is proof that, not only humans, but dogs can have emotions, feelings, etc, and there are people who care, and love animals, and try as much as they can to take care of them.

For anyone who's wondering why the son had to leave his dog with his mom, the son said that he was getting complaints from other residents, assumably from the dog's barking. It was mentioned in the subtitles but only briefly

Yes, maybe barking, or maybe the other residents just being scared with a "vicious dangerous Dobermann" in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately many breeds are still regarded as dangerous, when they are absolutely not. It's always up to the handler (or human, holder, caretaker, whatever term you want to use, as long as it is not "owner") how a dog turns out.

Yes she is wrong about that, if seunggi become skinnier because she didn't take care of seunggi. Why did she give seunggi food, bed for seunggi and even always protecting the dog?

They said he wasn't absorbing the nutrients from it though he was eating alot. I think they called it dysphesia?

@@tamraarmstrong1433 i tried to search exactly what the english subtitles said (dysepsia) and it corrected me to dyspepsia, which is indigestion. so the dog is eating but due to the depression he probably wasn't processing the food properly and not getting its nutritional value.

At first glance one would think the dog was being starved, please put on the ENGLISH SUBTITLES, The lady took him to the vet more then once the vet said there was no health issues and to feed the dog higher protein mix the dog food with chicken and noodles she was given him huge pans never did he go without meals he just kept getting skinner he was also checked for parasites and had none, the lady caregiver tryed her hardest the whole problem was he missed his family not sure why they left him in the woman's care? As soon as the man took him home he gained his weight back he was just missing his family.

Dogs cannot live on rice and noodles.......didn't they tell her how the dog needed to eat. But if this was the dogs original owner and the dog wouldn't eat without him then I think the dog was so depressed, he didnt' want to live without him. I don't understand why this happened. And with no subtitles it's a waste. Can't really understand what's happening.

@@susanmurrell635 you can click the 3 dots up top and get English. Yes she was feeding him dog food she was also cooking adding chicken and noodles. The dog was depressed with out his family. My dog did this when my daughter moved out no matter how much I fed her she kept losing weight and I knew she was missing my daughter she moved 300 miles away i actually paid to fly her home every weekend. My dog is weird she wants all of us together or she gets depressed if any one person is missing out of the house for more then a week .

We know why the dog was with the mother, the son told the camera crew. They had gotten residential complaints about the doberman and couldn't keep him anymore. so instead of giving him fully away they brought the dog to his mother.

This is a really rare case and hardcore level of separation anxiety, as it mild levels is highly common in pets that are raised in one location and especially either to a set family or one owner. If a dog has grown, raised and lived through a good amount of time and suddenly is abandoned or departed, they will develop this behavior. I just never knew that his level of separation anxiety and depression can negate the digestion and absorption of nutrition to its body. Lady, you did such a good job caring for the dog, you have done nothing wrong but give lots of love to the dog.

I want a dog so much(we also want a doberman) and my Mum too,but I will raise him and then move out with him,but I'm still in school and have time for him BUT after school I will move to New York for one year and then after that I will return to Germany and to study and in all that time I won't be able to live with the dog together

@@alynabro8244 Yes, very true. I have raised and lived with Dobies for many many years now, they really hate to be alone and are very sensitive animals. As soon as I read in the subtitles that the dog had been tested for parasites, I suspected the reason for his condition. It was so nice to see his "plump butt" and happy demeanor, at the end of the video.

J LOYAL i ¯\(°_o)/¯ ᵈᵘⁿⁿᵒ about that, I’m not sure She fed him many times a day. She gave him a bed. She did care but she couldn’t give the luxury that the dog had before. The dog wasn’t used to being outside all the time he was in a loving family indoors being petted all time by everyone. She did everything she could when her son got rid of the dog. He couldn’t have visited he didn’t № he was so thin. Only with the cameras on him did he take the dog back home. The dog loved him and regarded him as his alpha he was pining. You could tell as he was so sad when the son left

My first doberman had weight and hair loss. It was an unactive thyroid. No matter how much we fed him he would lose weight. My current doberman is so attached to me i get worried. Great to see this little Angel recover, i pray he is stable and happy for the future.

The first thing that popped up in my head when i started to see this video, is why is this dog so sad... the longer i saw the foottage it became stronger, this dog is sooo homesick. It was not malnutrition, or physical, but a broken heart... mental... so happy to see he bounced back so quickly being with the original owner. The lady did nothing wrong, but dobermans do bond strongly with 1 person.. and environment, he must of had him or her from puppy age.. once that has happened they will not thrive with somewhere or someone else... i do feel sorry for the lady she has a good and kind heart ..

What a wonderful story. There are still people who think that animals have no feelings. The dog showed that he was depressed due to lack of family. Thank God that he returned to his true owner and now lives happily and much healthier!😍👏🇧🇷

Ah bless sweet dog and family. Poor grandma she did her best but doggy really was heartbroken and missed his dad and family home. He was so happy once he was back home. I bet he missed the kids also.

We haven't seen our Sassy since the 4th of July weekend 2021. Shes a quiet shy dog. Never barked at nothing. Without me I know she's in a deep depression where ever she is. We truly miss you Sassy girl.

This made me cry so hard! The woman put every ounce of hope in every meal of seunggi , she even took him to the vet more than once! I feel very very sorry for the woman...I bet she loved the dog more than any dog or person in her life. God Bless You Seunggi and the rest of his family :)

Seperation anxiety, my dog went through it when I had to work away for 3 weeks (once a year). She lost over half of her weight in the 3 weeks I was gone due to not eating. But now she is used to my neighbour as he looks after her whilst I'm in work during the day and she is fine if I have to work away for a couple of weeks. ☺
