You would have to be to keep cats in small confined quarters for days on end with no food and water and then boil them alive while they scream. I still won't eat many foods like veal, pork or lobster where you boil it alive. I think going vegan is admirable. But, being fair, there are a lot of meat eaters that do not want any animal raised for food to be tortured.There are companies that only source their meat from farms that humanely treat the animals. You can tell how advanced a nation is by the way they treat animals. Hell even our cows have rights. Small farms give them a good life and a painless goodbye. (When laws are followed) Scariest part is there is a market for this out there still. That’s why it’s difficult for areas over there to enforce these new laws.

In the U.S livestock are killed using an electric shock delivered to the head which causes immediate cardiac arrest, that is much more humane than this! The animals are dead in under a minute and have to be checked for signs of consciousness twice before anyone does anything else with them. Raising them is where the issues arise, not killing them. You'd have to have a heart of stone to do this, to be capable of withstanding the screams of all those cats suffering!
