@Micayla Yeap i own and operate an animal shelter as well as a foster home and, i own 4 dogs and 3 cats. I treat all of the throw aways well. Of course I make it clear to them for there own good that if want they can call me "foster dad", and i make sure there all well fed and clothed. I made a perfectly good dinner table made of several cardboard boxes and a nice second hand rug they can sit on when they eat, down in the basement. When my real kids are done eating they put everything left on there plates as well as fresh leftovers from only 3 or 4 days ago in a great big bowl, mix it together and then they go down and serve the throw aways a great big feast. I make sure that each of the unwanted's have at least 2 pairs of clothing and 1 pair of shoes for every 2 so they can learn to share.

@@mikimiyazaki I really disagree with hitting dogs. I find it to be unnecessarily cruel and ineffective. Dogs don't learn when they are hit. They don't feel guilt. They feel fear. I don't know why but the fact you call them "unwanted's" and "throwaways" erk me. But with that being said, I'm glad you dedicate your life to help these amazing animals and that you are giving your pets the love and affection they deserve and I hope that you are showing that they are in fact wanted. :))

They explained why he was behaving like this. It was basically "puberty" and he was very food responsive. Watch the full video and they fixed the problem. And it's not as simple as spaying or neutering. My dog is spayed and she's food aggressive herself. You have the train the dog not to react violently. If TRAINING doesn't work then give the dog away.

To give the dog away even if neutering or training did not cure food aggression but then youre passing on the violent problem to someone else possibly with a toddler who could get injured or killed...

Lauren I can't speak for every single situation but if the problem is that the dog does not get along with other dogs or beings too aggressive around other dogs the solution is to give them to someone who doesn't have another dog. Or like in the example we saw with someone who has a dog that can hold its own and will deter the other dog from attacking. And if the dog is "that" aggressive you would have to be an ass to give the animal to someone who has a child that could be harmed. You would have to intentionally hide the fact that the dog is extremely aggressive from the person you're trying to give the dog to.

Lauren I'm not disagreeing with you just saying that every dog is different, training works for some dogs, some dogs just need to learn the hard way and sometimes dogs just won't learn at all. In the video they managed to find something that worked and while you would have found a different solution and stopped it sooner it's not always that easy for everyone.

Its called discipline, would u let them fight and get injured, i dont think so, they are not being violet, they are trying to discipline the dog, its hard to stoo dog fights, its not easy bro
