@Margaret Guest and once a time no cats exist, just breeded! By breeder's to earn money! To many lazy people breeding cats and dogs to get easy money! Think twice!!! I have seen to many of this breeders!

Radio Radio agree. Not all breeders do that but a lot of them abandon the less-perfect kittens and the mum cat after she’s unfit and “useless” after too many births. Sadly there is not enough abiding laws for punishment.

Big respect for the building owner. He participated in the rescue operation, didn't mind his property would be damaged and even installed safer equipment afterwards. Well done!

I am amazed that every time they spotted a trapped cat, the first thing they thought about is to rescue a life instead of how much damage it cost. LOVE!

Corona virus came to help poor animals and plants. Because of Corona most of animal has freedom. And clean air in the environment. Birds has freedom to fly ( no flights ). Its a punishment of nature. Rich, poor or powerful people (D Trump weapons ) are scared and hiding for such a tinny invisible objects ( CORONA Virus)

I still can't believe that these things actually happen worldwide, like... imagine a cat being stuck or any other animal, but not actually crying for rescue, so no one would know... :( It's just so harsh to think about, and that's why I'm super happy about all these people who are willing to help!! It's so emotional...

@@QuizzTwist usually kritter club teams also search for the mom in situation like this but idk.. if the mom decided not to show up then... just giving up for the search and wait for her to be spotted instead

They might have take their video of when the kitten was crying and make it play near the pipe in hope the mother would come at that time! Because it's nice that the kitten was saved, but to have seen both of the cats reunite would have been an absolute perfect end! Yes, it's extremly heart breaking not to see the reunion with the mom at the end! ♥♥♥

We also wanted to say GOD BLESS and huge respect to the owner of the building for not being worried about the expense of the rescue... he was more concerned about the little life that could have been lost had he not acted. they should probably bring the kitten back to the location in a cage. mom probably figure that her kid got rescued and probably won't come back to that location again if she doesn't hear her baby

This teared me up because I have experienced rescuing a trapped cat inside a pipe, as well. It occurred one night last August of 2019. I was a second year college student and me and my dorm mate were doing our requirements inside the dorm. It was almost midnight when a sudden cry of a kitten resonated the whole neighborhood. As we were both concerned about it, we took a break from our duties and tried to go outside in the dark to find where the sound is coming from. We immediately knew where the kitten might had been in when we saw a mother cat near it, possibly trying to save her kitten. She was near a hole that connects to the drainage pipe (same form like the one in the video, the only difference is, that hole was in a horizontal pipe where the cats probably smelled food from and went down for before it connects to a vertical pipe where the kitten probably slipped down in and couldn't climb back up, same situstion with the poor kitten in the video). But it was impossible for us to recover the trapped kitten from that hole because it was too away from the feline. There was only this other small hole right in the curve of the pipe going down where we could peek at the poor kitten and drop her food to eat. But it was too small for her to fit it. The only way to rescue it was to destroy the pipes. We couldn't rescue it immediately the night the incident happened because we couldn't cut the pipe alone without the help of others. Besides, we were afraid to destroy our neighborhood's drainage pipe since it could cause problems in the system. After 3 nights and 2 days of continuously feeding the trapped kitten and trying many ways to help the kitten out by ourselves (we tried to insert a long cloth to reach the kitten for it to climb on, we also tried using a bunch of yarn and a cat bait toy but it was too afraid to do so, besides we wouldn't still get it out because the hole couldn't fit it). Until this man, a neighbor of ours who was also concerned about the poor kitten's situation came to help us (finally). He heard us trying to save the kitten at midnight (we didn't want our other neighbors to see us destroy the pipes lol they might hear us but they won't recognize us and our voices lol). He finally cut the pipe open and we put the cloth where the kitten was and it immediately climbed on it surprisingly after days of starving and getting weaker. It might had been so desperate to get out. Sadly, the mother cat disappeared. But we were rrady to take care of it. We were so happy when finally got to save the kitten. It was trembling in fear and hunger (didn't eat all the food we fed her insidr the pipe) when we got it out. Until then, we took him as a pet. The end.

Some people don’t understand just how strong a mother cat’s love for their kittens are. It’s not just instinct at work here, there’s real feelings and it’s amazing and humbling to witness it. I feel such a heartache when I hear a kitten cry like that :( I don't feel like that at all from a human baby cry. I don't have children myself, but I have a cat. Might be why. I am a 25 y/o male and videos of cats in distress is the only thing that really affects me emotionally. Cats are so beautiful and sweet. Hate to see one in pain :'(

i have to agree. I dont care about humans as much as animals. seeing these bring a tear to my eye. helpless little things need all the help they can get.

That's because you associate a human baby's cry with being "tied down" & responsibility which lasts typically, for at least 20 yrs. =) However psychologists say we humans respond to a cat's cry actually BECAUSE it sounds so human-baby-like. Animals tug at my heart also. But until you actually watch your wife deliver your baby together, you can not know the joy and elation of that first baby cry. Even men become attuned to that particular cry of their own child, unique from any other. Women may have the hormones that better suit them for nurturing ...but if you become part of the process without fear or prejudice ... (and perhaps you will one day) ...many men (unless they have anger issues) can become very protective also. Some kind of instinct kicks in, whether you're looking for it too or not. Some men don't bond to their kids till they're older & start walking and talking and taking on a distinct personality ...& that's okay too. If your baby's cry is irritating, then it is best to go on long walks or bike rides, or a nice pick-up game with friends at the park or frisbee at the beach, etc. And know this stage of development will pass. p.s. Clear it with your wife first!

Me too... Cats are way more helpless than humans... I don’t think you may ever come across a human baby dumped in a trash can (This incidence must have happened but most people would never come across it), whereas you must have seen several kittens abandoned throughout your life... Cats are way more likely to suffer from things which most humans would never suffer from, and I am actually extremely amazed by all the people in this video! Many residents in addition to the building owner were really willing to help and even asked an organization to help, and definitely the ones who are truly and exceptionally amazing are the people working in this organization! They were really determined to help the cat no matter how much money and effort it takes! I feel so grateful that people can be merciful to this extent, and I really hope to find such amazing and merciful people where I live and everywhere else in the world. Guess what, many people where I live would laugh if they see such video as they believe animals don’t deserve this, though in reality such merciless people are the ones you don’t deserve to be rescued if they fall into such trouble...

Thank you to the owner of the building who allowed the pipe to be cut to get the kitten& put a new type of pipe that will prevent cats from getting trapped in the pipe in the future.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe that wasn't her only kitten ? Once it was safe she never returned she knew her baby would be well taken care of.

So happy that kitten endured a week and was rescued. Such a good mama staying there until her baby was rescued, at least they tried to get the mom but like the vet said the kitten being 3 months old that's when usually the mom leaves them on their own. Thank you to everyone involved in rescuing this precious kitten. 🐈🙂🙂🐈

Yep. Then again, people will still beg to keep them together. Nothing wrong with that, hope the mother survives long enough to be rescued, even if it’s somewhere else.

Nothing can replace an affectionate mothers love and concern for her children. The kitten who has been rescued is blessed with such an wonde ful mother who did not rest till she saved her child and perhaps later she was relieved that he would be taken care of and hence never came back. Thanks for this heart warming story...thanks for the rescue.
