I feel like most of them do this. I have a dog that gave birth a couple of days ago and after 3 days she started digging a hole and started putting her babies there. Although she might be doing this because she feels uneasy. We had our uncles and cousins invited that day so I can understand why she would feel uneasy since that she hasn't actually met them before.

I totally 'get' Yebbi's anxiety of losing her pups again. TOTALLY GET IT!! How can you trust your owner if she sells off your babies? No, Yebbi needed to hide them from her owner and that was the way she went about it. Dragging them back into the darkness of the whole was her way of protecting her babies so they would have their mum - she couldn't trust her owner anymore. So cute and I really feel for her. The babies are healthy and gorgeous.

@@MsVictory1945 Watch video with subtitles. She had her first litter at home. She hides this litter in underground tunnel because she was upset with her humans for adopting out her first litter. I do agree she should be spayed since she has such a hard time letting go of her kittens.

Did you even watch the video and read the subtitles? Her first litter was adopted out. When she had second litter she hid them so humans could not take them away. Have you got a helpful suggestion on how to help her understand that her puppies are fine and that this litter will also be fine?

@@Z0Z33KY They can handle her having puppies fine. It is the dog who can't handle them adopting out her puppies, which is why the poor dog should be spayed. It would seem that all dogs do not have the instinct to push their puppies towards independence. They can be as needy as people!

Such a good mama, I am glad you found the puppies and covered the hole so rain can't get in. I think you should let her keep one puppy and then have her spayed so she can't have anymore puppies.

She does need to be spayed, but maybe the family will keep 1 puppy & have them fixed. In that way the mother will feel as though she always has one of her puppies
