Someone cared enough to feed the cat and call SBS to rescue it. This vet has been in many videos and done great work in caring for animals. Hopefully this cat finds a nice butler and receives more love and attention for its entire life.

Sadly the cat is too feral for it to have a home. They did say he was very wary of humans. Which is why the subtitles said that he would be returned to where he used to live. As in around the apartment buildings. He will be fully healed to defend himself and and neutered to prevent unwanted kittens.

@@ManderzArl pretty much all feral cats in most placds are descended from domesticated cats, and even the original wild cats in places where they exist have some of the most exceptional abilities to naturally co-exist/cohabitate with humans. A feral cat is simply a cat that is not used to living with humans, the vast majority of them are able to get used to it and will live an immeasurably better life as a pet. Usually only the ones who have some sort of intense trauma with cruel humans are the one's that struggle particularly and even they ought to be taken care of more.

These cats can't be adopted out in a forever home. They are feral cats. They are not socialised with people to live with them. They should be sterilized and should be returned to the colony where they were living and should be fed

He may be feral. Feral cats usually don't do well in a home. That may be why they're sending him back.

Feral cats can become good pets with patients. Many were once house cats until discarded by horrible people. After awhile they are mistaken for feral. I do appreciate the efforts taken to rescue this beautiful cat and take him for proper medical treatment. Also for neutering him, so important!

cat this old is probably better in the outside world than indoors because it grew up there and knows how to feed itself already, cat is already a survivor... and also training a cat this old and no trust for human is not healthy, its stressful for it. just my speculation im not an expert

He is too feral. They said he was very wary of people. You can't train every old feral to love humans. Ferals who never experience good human behavior from a young age would most likely never be taken care of by one. (Sad but true) Good time would be if they were younger. Most are just helped with injuries.

He is probably feral. It is almost impossible to tame a truely wild / feral cat. We rescued a neighborhood "wild" cat in 2016. It took 6 weeks just for him to get close enough to touch him. We got lucky. I think someone owned him in the past. Now (2020) he is a total luvbug, and his name is Little Dude.

Thanks to the rescue and medical team who did such a great job in effectively helping this beautiful cat. And also to the ladies who reported the incident so that the cat can be helped. We rooting for the cat's complete recovery & please recheck on this cat when he's returned home. How else could he have gotten into such a bad, bad shape??? Thank you.

It looks like some type of plastic ring wrapped around his neck and under his arm. I can't imagine the pain of him trying to survive on the streets as it became tighter and cut into his skin and muscles. I wish they would do an update so we know how he recovered and how he's doing today

So glad to see this poor kitty rescued - a shame though that he will be sent back to live on the streets. Hopefully someone will look out for him and give him food and some kind of warm shelter out there - a cardboard box won't help much in the winter.

I belive that probably a child put that thing on the cat's head when he was a baby to pretend to be her baby and feeding him. The cat broke free and escape from there and grow with the plastic on his head
