Eversince I lost my first dog last year and she was only 9 months old, it was always so heartbreaking to see suffering and dying animals, whether it is mine or not. I wish they could live as long as their humans live, and just cross the rainbow bridge together.

I knew by the title, poor doggie would die. But I thought it would be after or during surgery. The fact that it happened before surgery, makes it worse. I think Baekdol saw it’s mother, thinking it was time to go, not knowing she was coming back.

Ive never commented before...I have not watched the video yet. But with the comments I see...I have to. My Brownie was 13. I watched her come out of her Mom 12.26.99. I found her 03.07.12. First time EVER she didnt come to me. About an hour later I walked out there and she wasnt there. In the new fallen snow I thought I would track her...but there were ONLY her paw prints to where she was laying and obviously thats where she was laying in the snow. THERE WERE NO OTHER PAW PRINTS. I knew she was gone and my buddy didnt understan when I said "she's gone". Next morning when I found her body at the bottom of the steps....I KNOW THERE ARE ANGELS...they brought her to me...I didnt have to look.

i got such a trigger w this video. i had a cat that one day started looking with breathing issues, but the symptoms escalated too fast all in couple hours so i got worried sick. her body colapsed on the floor and i was worried i would hurt her by picking her, her breathing was like the dog on the vídeo and she would react to my voice. i called a vet so hopefully they could come to my house and bring basic stuff to take her pain away or avaliate her state or even euthanize her. i even tried to prepare myself for the worse case scenario but the worse was what i lived. my town doesnt have many vets and the one who treated the other family pets was not in town. i begged him, that she was really bad and suffering, i was despaired and feeling powerless for just watch her in pain. for some hours i cried in my bed, waiting for the end of the day aka the time that vet said he would be coming to help my cat. nowadays I kinda regret it, I was weak and in denial and maybe it was my fault she suffered for so long. I composed myself and got by her side and moments later she gave me her last breath. I think she really, like the dog, wanted my presence by her side and my voice even in between tears. i cried so so much. I still do and i think this video sort of helped my pain, cause even with profissional care, the state might not be reverse. death maybe would be inevitable. in the end the vet didn't come to my house, my cat passed away 3h before the time he set for her and it was my grandma calling him to say the cat passed away on her own. till today I still resent that vet. idk what was he doing, maybe he was saving crucial lifes too, maybe he was just doing his agenda and chose a shot or a light task instead taking the pain away of a living. I might be selfish and I know vets have agenda and maybe can't just drop an easier and light appointment just like grooming for a emergency, im not sure and i dont know but till today I wasn't able to forgive him or myself. he probably would not save her, maybe he could not euthanize her, but he could maybe take her pain away and guarantee some confort in the middle of the crisis just like this dog had. I just wanted to share jimin story, my cat. I hope that, just like this dog, they passed away knowing that they were so so loved. and I would chose this pain I feel today always, I would chose to crucify myself instead watching her keep in pain for weeks or days or months. she passed too sudden but I shared 7 long happy years with her. I'm gonna tattoo her silhouette bc I want her to keep living within me, more than on my mind. nobody is gonna read this hopefully. it's 4am in my country and im ugly crying. my thoughts probably are not organized but I just wanted to comment everything that flashed through my eyes in the end of the video. jimin passed away on 2nd march 2024. I made her funeral with pretty flowers and all. that day it was raining. I really think my world and my town itself lost such a precious soul. its in moment like those that my faith really tightens. i hope theres an afferlife. i hope you will still recognize me and hopefully accept me again. I hope you're gonna stare at me just because and give up to head bonks on my legs asking for patts bc you're just too lovely. I hope you will still do your little bunny jumps if I reach out my hand to you. I hope you're not mad at me, or if so, that u will please forgive me and allow me to be your owner again. till that day... I hope you're okay, ji 🤍
