Exactly!! It’s just really sad watching the cats being so stressed out and even ATTACKED. Why not just separate the animals so that your cats don’t have to get attacked? I understand people raising cats with dogs and other domesticated animals but a Prairie dog is not domesticated nor a pet.

I agree. I wouldn't keep a prairie dog in the house. I would keep it outside in an enclosure. Poor kitties keep getting beaten up, that's not right.

@Jayne Eyre I understand but my heart goes out to those poor cats having to deal with this overgrown rodent attacking them and biting them. The poor cats are stressed out having to deal with this daily. That bite looked very nasty and I'm sure it was painful besides. I just dont think it's a good mix. That prairie dog would do much better outside in an enclosed area away from the cats.

I can't believe that cats doesn't kill it, it has the power and ability to do so. Not saying that the prarie dog couldn't mess the cat up as well, but the cat being a natural predator you'd think ited be more aggressively trying to eat it or something. I know my old cat would, he'd chased off the foxes that where controlling our rabbit problem, and we had to end up paying someone to trap and relocate over 60 rabbits from the property. My one cat couldn't keep up haha.

This is exactly how my rabbit treats my cat lol, whenever my cat is in her sight, she will chase him, but hes always so curious and would always get a closer look at my rabbit and my rabbit also eats his cat food when I'm not around

@@maymetwaly1808 I think cats and rabbits can get along considering a cat is a predator and a rabbit is the prey, but however in indoor state they tend to get along, i havent rubbed a towel or cloth on both of them to have the same scent as each other, i keep forgetting😥
