Some calming remedies will help ease the stress, like Feliway and Rescue Remedy. Glad to see her engage in play and living a happy life.

We leave food down 24/7, he eats what he wants leaves the rest and comes back to eat more later. He doesn't over eat. He doesn't steal food or jump on tables. We don't feed him table food either.

OMG reminds me of my tuxedo cat he looks just like her; he walked up to my mom and she brought him home with a wounded paw; of course our 13yr old wasn’t too happy but she has been adjusting slowly. He acted the same way like every meal would be his last. I would remind him over and over this won’t be your last meal look at how far Beauty is no one is going to starve you; you even have your own food you don’t have to share or anything. But play time really helped distract him from thinking about food unless I was going to get food for myself then he starts thinking were eating together 🙄 try the cat slow feeders that allow the cat to play and interact might help

When I watch the video on my tablet with caption on it didn't work. Second time I watched the video I casted on to my television and this time I was able to see the caption. I've seen this reaction before with rescued cats who have had to survive on the streets. Some grow out of this reaction once they have learned that food is always available, unfortunately not all do. Patience, love and of course never be late with dinner. 😼

I fund a kitty too. He eat so fast every single time then throw up all. I used to gave him then small portions. So he ate and take the another cats food. But the other cat defend his food. He yealling at him and powpow his face. He understand they have their own dish. Sadly he was bitten for a stray cat on his leg and got an infection. I took him to vet even the wound was tiny as a rice size. But the was palid. The medication was not get any effect abd vet change it. He passaway I guess was too much strong for him. I miss him so much. I cried so much when he dies on my arms. I tomd him he was always a good boy and I love him and always I will. I love all my doggies or kitties in my life. I miss them all so much. I lost my other cat. He share his life between two houses. When my baby cat dies he stay just two weeks and then he back with his original family. I feel he abandon me because he loves more his friend than me. I miss him too.
